The Weight
$49.00
- You did something you said you'd never do. And now you can't stop replaying it.
The guilt follows you into every conversation, every silence, every time you look at your partner. You've Googled "how to forgive yourself after cheating" at 2am. You've wondered if you're a terrible person. You've tried to push it down, but it keeps surfacing — in your chest, in your sleepless nights, in the way you can't quite meet your own eyes in the mirror.
This is The Weight.
Not another article telling you "everyone makes mistakes." Not toxic positivity. Not punishment forever either.
The Weight is a 30-session psychoeducational journey designed for people who cheated and are struggling with guilt, shame, and the question of what comes next. Whether your partner knows or doesn't. Whether you're trying to repair the relationship or process what happened after it ended.
WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT:
This isn't generic self-help. The Weight is built on psychoanalytic theory from Klein, Winnicott, Jung, and Bowlby — the same frameworks used in deep therapeutic work. You'll understand WHY you did what you did, not just that you did it.
It's also culturally-responsive through The ENRICH Method™, recognizing that guilt and shame land differently depending on your cultural background — Caribbean, South Asian, African American, Latinx, East Asian, and more. Your context matters.
THE FOUR PHASES:
- Arrival (Sessions 1-7): Name what happened. Distinguish guilt from shame. Build safety for the work ahead.
- Excavation (Sessions 8-16): Understand the WHY. Uncover patterns, unmet needs, the shadow self. This isn't about excuses — it's about never doing this again.
- Reckoning (Sessions 17-24): Take real responsibility. Learn what genuine apology looks like. Face your partner's pain. Begin rebuilding trust.
- Reclamation (Sessions 25-30): Self-forgiveness without spiritual bypassing. Who do you want to become? Integration and continuation.
EACH SESSION INCLUDES:
- Psychoanalytic grounding from major theorists
- Culturally-informed reflection through the ENRICH lens
- Five guided reflection questions (surface to depth)
- Embodied/somatic practice
- Non-toxic affirmation
- Journal prompt
BUILT WITH SAFETY IN MIND:
- 7-step entry process ensuring you're ready
- Daily limits to prevent emotional flooding
- Grounding exercises always accessible
- Crisis resources if needed
- All data stored locally — complete privacy
WHO THIS IS FOR:
Adults (18+) who have been unfaithful and are processing guilt. You're not in crisis, but you're carrying something heavy. You're ready to look at yourself honestly — not to be destroyed, but to understand and change.
WHO THIS IS NOT FOR:
Anyone currently in mental health crisis. Anyone looking for permission or excuses. This is accountability work.
Created by Sherry Jerimie, LCSW-R — a Licensed Psychotherapist and Certified Psychoanalyst with nearly 30 years of clinical experience. Founder of ENRICH Global.
You are not what you did. You are what you do next.
The Weight helps you figure out what that is.
