The Sovereignty Mirror™

$49.00

    Who This Is For:
The Sovereignty Mirror™ is a 30-session psychoeducational program designed specifically for Caribbean immigrant parents, West Indian parents, and children of the Caribbean diaspora—including Jamaican, Trinidadian, Haitian, Guyanese, Barbadian, and other Caribbean heritage families raising children in the United States, Canada, and the UK. This program also serves Black parents, African diaspora families, and Global Majority parents navigating the tension between cultural preservation and assimilation pressures.

    The Problem We Address:
Many Caribbean and immigrant parents unknowingly enforce "Colonial Unconscious" parenting patterns—inherited rules about respectability, obedience, achievement, and appearance that were designed by colonial systems, not by our ancestors. These patterns show up as: policing your child's natural hair, demanding silence and compliance, tying worth to achievement, using shame as discipline, and prioritizing "what will people say?" over your child's authentic expression. You may recognize your grandmother's voice in your corrections—but never asked whether those rules serve your child's wholeness or colonial survival.

    What You'll Experience:
This self-paced, culturally-responsive parenting program guides you through four transformative phases: Arrival (naming the colonial unconscious), Excavation (tracing intergenerational patterns), Reckoning (grief, anger, and forgiveness work), and Reclamation (choosing sovereign values and creating new family rituals). Each of the 30 sessions includes clinical psychoeducation drawing from Frantz Fanon, bell hooks, Donald Winnicott, Bessel van der Kolk, and other theorists—plus guided reflection, embodied somatic practices, cultural consideration for Caribbean contexts, self-assessment, cognitive reframes, and deep journaling prompts.

    What Makes This Different:
Created by Sherry Jerimie, a Licensed Psychotherapist and Certified Psychoanalyst with nearly 30 years of clinical experience, The Sovereignty Mirror™ applies The ENRICH Method™ (Ethnicity, Nationality, Race, Identity, Culture, Heritage) to parenting. Unlike mainstream parenting programs that ignore cultural context, this work honors the complexity of raising children across cultures while healing intergenerational trauma. This is decolonized parenting support for parents ready to break cycles of shame-based discipline, internalized colorism, and respectability politics.
    Outcomes:
After completing The Sovereignty Mirror™, you will be able to distinguish between your True Cultural Values and your Internalized Enforcer, repair ruptures with your children, create sovereign family rituals, and parent from groundedness rather than inherited fear. You will stop parenting for "The Mainstream" and start parenting for your child's soul.

    Access:
The Sovereignty Mirror™ is available exclusively through ENRICH Membership at $19.99/month. Your membership includes immediate, unlimited access to this flagship 30-session program plus our complete library of culturally-responsive emotional wellness apps—all designed for the Global Majority by a clinician who understands your experience.
