Focus on Your Strengths Instead of Your Weaknesses

In our daily lives, we are bombarded with negativity, toxic pessimism, and an emphasis on our weaknesses. Over time this assault can harm your emotional well-being. We are already wired to focus on the negative, known as the negativity bias, which can leave us feeling overwhelmed and exhausted. As a result, our goal is to encourage you to focus on your unique strengths. Unrealized strengths are behaviors you may not use daily due to your personal or professional environment. You may engage in learned behaviors that you learned to perform well over time; however, they do not provide pleasure or energize you. Weaknesses are the things that you perform poorly, which drain your energy. This self-reflective activity aims to help you focus and be mindful about your strengths and choose five strengths that describe you best.
