About
Do you accept yourself? What does it mean to accept yourself? You may say, Of course, I accept myself. Don't we all accept ourselves as a regular part of living? The answer is no! Self-acceptance is not automatic, and the fact is many of us have trouble accepting ourselves exactly as we are, especially our flaws and failures. Here is an overview of what the Six-Week Digitally Guided Self-Acceptance Challenge will explore. Week 1: You will become familiar with that critical inner voice. The internalized parental object can sometimes become more critical than supportive. You will learn to befriend that voice. Week 2: This exercise will challenge your ability to sit with yourself, which can prove to be quite difficult if you struggle with self-acceptance. Week 3: We explore your capacity for self-compassion. Self-compassion can be difficult to learn and practice but positively impacts your psychological well-being. Week 4: We all make mistakes. It's part of the human condition. However, our view and how we process mistakes significantly impact our mental health. Week 5: We all seek appreciation because validation is critical to our sense of self and well-being. Validation doesn't only come from people around us; we must also appreciate ourselves. This exercise will help you to discover the qualities you appreciate about yourself. Week 6: This exercise will help you develop your skill to celebrate your accomplishments.
